One of the best compliments I have ever got was when one of my teens left my office and said “I have the trendiest therapist”
I absolutely love working with teens, because of the time I grew up, I experienced life before technology and life after all while still being a teen. This helps me to really bridge the gap in communication between parents and teens. Some parents can be concerned because I only look a few months older than their teen (trust me the mask helps me look younger lol) but it really helps me to have a special connection with them to help them be heard... but also not make... bad choices lol
